Art Day Trip to Hauser & Wirth Somerset

Tuesday 16th April

9AM - 5PM


Occupying a former farmstead, Hauser & Wirth Somerset is home to a vibrant program of art exhibitions, artist and culinary activities, in connection with the local community and landscape.


We'll be welcomed for a private director-led tour, exploring outdoor sculpture, Oudolf Field (pictured below) and the current exhibition 'Present Tense,' which spotlights the next generation of artists living and working in the UK, from emerging to mid-career, celebrating a breadth of creative talent and socially engaged practices. The multifaceted group presentation consists of 23 contemporary artists outside of the Hauser & Wirth roster.


And then a bit of time to explore gardens and visit Durslade Farm Shop, before we head to At The Chapel restaurant for lunch.

Kayaking on Thames River

Sometimes you just want to take the weight off your feet and see the Thames from a whole new angle. If that's you, then this two-hour guided kayak class will be ideal for you. Starting from our Richmond base these sessions will take you through the basics of kayak technique and safety before showing you our beautiful, safe and idyllic stretch of the Thames. They'll provide all the kit and equipment you need. All you need to do is turn up!

Lunch Club
